Rome

Arrived in Rome after a long plane flight. Managed to get some sleep on plane but enough for me 😕.

Dubai airport was huge. Lifts were massive -as my sister indicated -the size of rooms 😁.

Lucy managed to get photos as we flew from Dubai to Rome. Amazing snaps. 

After looking for name for our chauffeur to take us to Hotel we eventuality found. We were both looking for Lucy but there it was under my name. Gave Lucy opportunity to talk to a few people atinformation desks to sort out.  They drive pretty fast in Italy but we got to our destination in one piece.  Chauffeur was unable to take us to the Hotel door. Loads of tourists so we hopped out andwalked with our cases over cobbled road to Hotel Fontana. Our resting place for a couple of nights.  We have a view of Trevi fountain from our window.  Wow  

Hot in Rome - 37 degrees  we changed into more suitable clothing and headed out to explore fora couple of hours before retiring early to catch up on much needed sleep and be ready for our adventure tomorrow
